International Crumhorn Day [Garrick's Temple]

I shall be marking International Crumhorn Day with solo pieces and demonstrations of this intriguing instrument, starting with fanfares from the front of the Temple.

I shall also be playing solo music for flute and recorder from the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, explaining how the sound world and playing techniques differ from more recent music.
