These Old Shades

A collaborative event celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Georgette Heyer's novel These Old Shades, which is set in the mid-eighteenth century. It is part of the Phenomenal Females project led by Arts Richmond. The programmes will include scenes from the book, solo and ensemble dances, and Georgian songs by female composers.

Anyone able and willing to listen and watch is welcome to attend this colourful occasion at this Georgian jewel on the Thames, whether or not they are familiar with the music, dances, songs and scenes to be performed. Advance booking is recommended as the Temple is small - and tickets are cheaper [£20; £12.50] - although admittence at the door wll still be possible [costing £22]. You can buy tickets HERE.
