'These Old Shades' [Oxford]

Follia Baroque ensemble and Georgettes of Oxford collaborate on a celebration of the 100th anniversary of this popular historical book by Georgette Heyer set in eighteenth-century England and France. Taking place in The Bodleian Library, Oxford, there will be talks and dance demonstrations during the day in The Weston Library [11am-4pm] - free to the public - and you can see a detailed schedule HERE.
In the evening, there will be an Eighteenth-Century Ball in The Divinity School [6.30 - 10pm, costing £60], led by Helen Davidge of the Georgettes and accompanied by Follia.
