Arcadian River [Garrick's Temple]

This performance will feature music and poetry from the 'Arcadian' [Georgian] period when landscapes and houses were made to fit in around this stretch of the Thames and to suit Classical ideals. 

It will form part of the Thames Festival and will include parts of Handel's 'Water Music', Charles Dibdin's 'The Jolly Young Watermen', and poetry written on natural themes by Pope and contemporary writers.

Booking in advance is cheaper [£14; £8] and advisable as the venue is small, although admission on the door will still be possible [£16]. Tickets can be booked HERE.
