'Novelty of Musick' - a celebration of John Dowland [Garrick's Temple]

Emma Kirkby brings her renowned Dowland Project to Garrick's Temple to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the composer's death.

By lending her longstanding celebrity and expertise to attract audiences, this project gives a platform to younger musicians to explore and perform the wonderful English repertoire of lute songs.

Booking in advance is cheaper [£20; £10] and also advisable as the venue is small. and you can book tickets HERE.
Admission on the door [£22] is possible too; anyone able and willing to listen is welcome, whether or not they are familiar with the programmes. The performers will introduce the music and their instruments, and refreshments will be served during the interval.
