Bloomsbury Baroque mark Shakespeare's birthday with music from his day and from the eighteenth-century revival of his work, using instruments to suit each era.
Our performance in Garrick's Temple will combine two programmes, which will be performed separately during the Shakespeare in Music Festival held in Stratford upon Avon. These will be
'Sounds and sweet airs' - Shakespearian music for an Elizabethan 'broken consort';
Tuesday 21st. April, 3 - 4pm, United Reformed Church, 11 Rother Street, Stratford upon Avon CV37 6LU. Admission £20; £15 concession.
'All fancy sick I am from love' - settings of Shakespeare by Purcell, Smith, De Fesch, Arne and other eighteenth-century composers.
Wednesday 22nd. April, 3 - 4pm; same venue and admission price.

Yeo Yat-Soon - Harpsichord
Anyone able and willing to listen is welcome to attend this concert, whether they are familiar with the music or not. The musicians will introduce the programme and their instruments.
