As part of Richmond borough's Cultural Reforesting festival, The Lovekyn Consort will perform songs celebrating the natural world by Henry Purcell [1659 - 1695] and contemporaries, together with the poem Reynard written and performed by Jan Noble.

The venue is Garrick's Temple to Shakespeare, built by the eighteenth-century actor who revived interest in Shakespeare 

Do come and join us at this Georgian jewel in the crown for a glass of wine by the river followed with music by one of England's most celebrated composers. Anyone willing and able to listen is welcome to attend, whether or not the are familiar with the music. 

Advance booking is advisable as capacity is limited, and it is also cheaper [£14; £8] athough admision on the door is also possible [£16].

Please note the earlier start time - 6.15pm - which will include refreshments on the lawn. performances will finish by 9.15pm.
