Painting by Watteau of a rural scene with dancing and music

Mrs Bennet's Ball Preparation for Brighton Ball workshop [London]

Sunday 14 April 2024
13:30 to 17:00

As the next occasion in the regular series of workshops on Regency dance run by Mrs Bennet's ballroom, this event will both prepare those planning to attend the fortchoming Ball in Brighton Pavilion [11th. May, sold out] and also introduce newcomers to this growing historical dance scene. Unlike most workshops, this one will be accompanied by live music from The Capability Consort, playing Romantic [19th-century] instruments:

Ben Sansom - Violin

William Summers - Flute

Jacob Garside - Cello

Ian Watt - Guitar

Regular attenders of Loki Music's concerts may also wish just to attend and listen. Tickets will cost £22 on the door or in advance, and you can find out more about Mrs Bennet's regular classes via http://www.mrsbennet.co.uk
