Four players of this iconic Tudor instrument from The London Crumhorn Consort perform dances and songs from the sixteenth century.
With a distinctively direct tone, these instruments sound similar to a small organ when played together, and their distinct articulation lends extra power to both dance rhythms and the resolving dissonances of songs.
