Loki Music

'Home' in this case refers to the social nest created by a picnic with music, often with voice[s], guitar and flute. This long-established sonority, used particularly for portable and recreational occasions, existed as a nineteenth-century counterpart to large and revolutionary forms for orchestra or piano. The Soane Trio will perform songs - including the eponymous one by Henry Bishop - together with instrumental variations and solos, from the Romantic period of music [circa 1800-1870], using instruments of the period.
