Whistlebow perform in Music in the Park [Twickenham]

Sunday 08 August 2021
14:00 to 15:00

As the perfect Palladian building by the Thames is restored and pandemic conditions linger, the annual Summer concerts are thankfully continuing. This year, post-modern troubadours Whistlebow will provide an hour of varied music including reworked folk songs, versions of early music classics and one or two obscure songs from the 1970s.

Patricia Hammond - Voice

William Summers - Flute, Recorder, Crumhorn

Rupert Gillett - Cello, Guitar, Voice

The concert will be amplified sufficiently to be audieble in a large open space, and combines well with a picnic and a [subsequent] walk around the house or by the river [the house is currently closed for refurbishment]. This performance will be free to attend and is suitable for families. No seating will be available, so you are advised to bring your own rugs or chairs to sit on. Donations to Marble Hill of £5 are requested, and arrival in good time is recommended to allow for social distancing.

You can see and hear us in three short videos and then pre-order our first album via the shop: https://whistlebow.com/video/
