Flow My Beers

Named as a spoof upon John Dowland's most famour song 'Flow, my tears' [first published in 1600], this is a musical pub evening for lute music, lute appreciation and lute fanciers.

Other plucked instrumnts are welcome, as are singers and other instrumentalists who work with this style of music - or who would like to listen to it.

 

This event is free and open to all. Like any other pub evening, it is unpredictable and slightly anarchic - although a vague sense of order will be kept by me as the Zoom host. The usual clientelle includes professional soloists, amateur chamber musicians, singers of various sorts and guitarists - and one or two wind instruments might just make an appearance...
