This year's harpsichord recital by Yat-Soon continues the strand of marking Couperin's music in the 350th. year since his birth:
‘Couperin and the French Grand Siècle’
Music by François Couperin and his distinguished predecessors in the classical line of great French harpsichord composers who together make up one of the most magisterial traditions of keyboard music, suffused with immense grandeur, delicate tenderness and profound melancholy. I am delighted to return to this elegant and intimate 18th century venue by the banks of the River Thames.
