Georgian quartets among Palladian columns [Twickenham]

The London Abel Quartet perform some of the earliest quartets written in England by Johann Christian Bach [1735 - 1782] and Carl Friedrich Abel [1723 - 1787]. The style lies between Baroque and Classical, and the concert features the bass viol for which Abel was celebrated for playing and teaching.
