An informal evening of early music, with no programmes and plenty of breaks to eat, drink and chat while classic recordings are playing. This event forms part of Kingston Arts' Festival of the Voice, details of which can be found at www.kingstonarts.co.uk

 

The 'house band' is Princes in the Tower - a mischievous minstrel band telling tales from the tavern, singing songs from the sea and playing dance tunes plucked from the courts and households of Tudor England.

Special guests are The Lovekyn Consort, who will perform music from 18th.-century pleasure gardens.
