On Tuesday 13 December, Medieval[ish] minstrels Princes in the Tower accompanied Ronald Hutton’s exposition of pre-Victorian Christmas at The Idler Academy – a non-corporate bookshop near Notting Hill.
This small, alternative bookshop hosts lectures and classes on literature, languages, crafts and music – and the Princes were very pleased to return to play in such an intriguing, worthwhile enterprise.
You can read more about the event itself and Ronald Hutton. You can also read this example of a previous Prince's performance.
